Bunessan Show

For the first time in a number of years, the weather was a real challenge for the Bunessan Show. The day started off just ‘iffy’, but by 12 o’clock it was a real downpour which never let up all afternoon. In spite of the wet, in true West coast style, those present put a brave face on it.
Mark Wylie entertained the crowd in fine style with his ducks and sheepdogs – nothing seems to dampen his enthusiasm!
Chainsaw Pete was delighted to be under cover. He was using red cedar for this year’s carvings of a Heron and a Highland cow’s head, which smelt wonderful. Visitors to the show were so impressed with the results that they doubted Pete had started that day from scratch!.. more in the printed issue
