Salen Show 2022

This year’s Salen Show was back to full strength, after a brave effort in 2021, when the Mull & Morvern Agricultural Society staged a ‘livestock only’ show – one of the few agricultural shows to go ahead that year. The show ground was buzzing, with locals and visitors alike keen to mingle and experience what was on offer.
There was plenty for the children, including a bouncy castle, laser clay pigeon and the Story Wagon, arranged by An Tobar and Mull Theatre, which had also been present at Bunessan Show. We asked Luke Winter how the day had gone: ‘It’s been great, said Luke ‘we’ve had some lovely quiet times – the children had bounced off some energy by the time they got to us. And we have a brilliant new word for our dictionary – ‘trifficult’, which is a cross between ‘tricky’ and ‘difficult’.
