The annual Bunessan Show is known for its friendliness, and this was borne out by the atmosphere at the show ground on 4th August – wherever you looked, you saw animated conversations and happy faces. This was one of the busiest shows for some years, which is very encouraging in these post-Covid times, when many people seem to have forgotten how to go out and about.
One of the main attractions was Mull & Iona Pipe Band, who gave a superb performance. It was hard to believe that the band had not had a proper practice beforehand, since some of the members now live on the mainland… more in the printed issue
