Mendelssohn on Mull returns for its annual residency in the week beginning September 18th.
Following successful events in 2019 and 2020, we have invited four young artists, chosen by the Doric String Quartet, our Artistic Directors, to come to Mull for a week this month. We hope that this may be the start of a new quartet, if all goes well here and after they leave the island.
We are grateful to Tony and Jenny Jeffree who provide us with accommodation at Suidhe Farm in Bunessan. The week is different from the September visit, as life in Bunessan is different from Tobermory. The prospect of several days’ total immersion without having to get trains round London, or the distractions of city life, is very attractive for our artists… more in the printed issue
