In December 2020, Visit Mull and Iona (the destination marketing organisation for the islands), with the help of local artist Alicia Hendrick, was successful in attracting a grant for a new contemporary arts project for the islands, funded by “Scotland Loves Local”. The new Mull and Iona Arts Trail and Website will feature an Arts Trail Map and listings of venues open to the public; an Artist Directory of artists living and working on Mull, Iona and the offshore islands and an Arts Events Calendar, as well as lots of information about the cultural life of the islands.

The team delivering the project are all local; Alicia Hendrick is retained as project co-ordinator; Joe McFadden will provide the website and Dawn Reade is designing a new logo and elements of the online map.
