New Bridge for Centre

The Ross of Mull Historical Centre is delighted with its new bridge, ready in time for this year’s opening on April 1st. The wood of the old bridge was in need of repair so all the wood was replaced and the supporting metal structure repaired and repainted. The new wood is larch supplied by Tiroran Community Forest. Joe Gibson Ling, the carpenter responsible for all the work, created a new design that has resulted in a much sturdier structure that is also safer for young children and very pleasing to look at… more in the printed issue
