Great turnout for our Pink Run in Salen on 12th June, with over 30 runners, dogs and a donkey taking part. This was the first time for over two years the Cancer Research fundraising event has taken place, so pleased to see everyone! The winners of the adults: 1st male Jerry O’Doherty, 1st female Julia McCormach, 1st boy Cameron Whyte, and 1st girl Hannah Graham. All starters finished, with the exception of Janice and Peggy the donkey, who had a bit of a trauma with a bridge in the forest. The donkey was reported to have had a great day out, as had the rest of the runners and walkers… more in the printed issue
