It was difficult trying to judge the Scarecrow Trail this year: not everyone who made a scarecrow photographed it and posted on the Gala FB page or sent them to me so I could do so. However, in saying that, I’m very grateful to all of those who created one, they continued to help brighten up these difficult times, put a smile on lots of people’s faces and gave us some hope that we’re getting back to something nearer a normality and, hopefully, the Gala will return next year… more in the printed issue
