Spanish Galleon Visit

There was much excitement recently as we brought the 17th century replica Spanish Galleon Andalusia to Tobermory.
During a welcome event aboard the floating museum, former Tobermory Harbour chair Brian Swinbanks shared with the crew some history of the famous Galleon sunken in Tobermory bay and the important part it has played in the development of tourism over the years. Brian, along with current chair and organiser John MacDonald, presented a coat of arms to the ship, generously donated by Mull Museum and THA. The staff enjoyed a tour but asked for the vessel to not let history repeat itself, and were relieved to wave her off as she left the bay after a successful visit…
