With the practical completion certificate issued by WT Architecture on the 13th of May 2021, the new village hall finally belongs to Iona.
Large, light-filled, multi-purpose in its design, the building is ready to be filled with life, stories and memories.
While a big celebration will have to wait until restrictions and the general Covid 19 situation allow, island folk will have a chance to explore and make themselves familiar with the hall during weekends in May. June will see the official opening for business – we are very pleased that locals and visitors alike have started booking the building for sport sessions, workshops and small celebrations… more in the printed issue
