Show day in Salen on 13th August started off muggy, with thundery showers expected, but this did not put off the show goers, who attended in their droves. Attractions included the ever-popular bouncy castle and rodeo bull, with the have-a-go archery run by Mull Archers and Chainsaw Pete’s carving also attracting a lot of interest.…

This year’s Bunessan Show in the Bunessan School grounds was a great success. In spite of a poor weather forecast, the weather stayed mainly dry, and this was the busiest show day for some time. Regular visitors no doubt felt the lack of Mark Wylie and his amazing duck show – Mark sadly passed away…
